These drawings were created in the early 1980’s during some hard years. They are 30×40 Crayola marker drawings and they express the pain I felt inside. I felt I was like an animal injured and dying, like a death dance, and after I did the last one I would die. The last one I drew was one called Hope and I was hospitalized at that point. When I was released from the hospital I began to teach myself to paint.
